  • Places to visit – Whistling sands is a fantastic beach for families with it’s golden sands and horseshoe shaped cove. It’s great for surfing and skimming! They also have a fantastic cafe on the beach. Bardsey Island can be seen from the top of Mynydd Mawr. There are scenic walks on this route with plenty of picninc spots along the way. Boat trips to Bardsey from Porth Meudwy are available depending on weather! The market town of Pwllheli (held every Wednesday and Sunday)is about 25 minutes drive away. Abersoch is 20 minutes away with it’s fabulous beaches with an abundance of watersports, designer beachwear shops, pubs etc. There is a golf course in Nefyn and Abersoch. – Glasfryn – Go Karting etc – Rabbit farm in Llanstymdwy – Horse riding in Llanbedrog and Abersoch
